EPIC Day Fitness Services

Empowering Independence Through Community and Wellness

Our day services are designed to provide a supportive and engaging environment where individuals can develop life skills, social connections, and personal growth through a variety of activities. Our program offers two separate three-hour windows for our members to choose from. We have a morning session that runs from 9 AM to 12 PM, and we offer an evening session from 12 PM to 3 PM.  In these sessions, there are plenty of activites to choose from, including aquatics, aerobics, sports, weight training, and much more. None of these activities are mandatory, and participation is dependent upon each EPIC member's preference.

Wellness & Fitness

Tailored exercise programs and health education to promote physical well-being.

Social Skills

Guided group interactions and community outings to build lasting relationships.

Life Enrichment

Practical skill-building sessions focused on community navigation and independence.

To qualify for EPIC’s services, participants must be DDDS approved adults aged
18 or older with an intellectual disability and/or developmental disability (collectively identified as individuals with IDD) who voluntarily choose to enroll in the program. Each individual’s level of support is determined using a state-mandated standardized assessment tool. Based on the score, Medicaid authorizes a specific number of billable service hours, which are detailed in a member's Person Centered Plan (PCP), a document that outlines their individualized fitness goals, support needs, and service
delivery parameters.
